Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Milan Audit, you agree to these terms. If you’re using Milan Audit on behalf of an organization, you’re confirming you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

What Milan Audit is and isn't

Milan Audit reviews a completed property insurance estimate and returns a structured audit: potential missing scope, QA issues, supplement opportunities, code-upgrade opportunities, and a confidence score. It is a second set of eyes, not a substitute for professional judgment. Milan Audit does not generate estimates, does not adjust claims, and does not provide legal, insurance, or professional advice. Findings, including those produced with AI assistance, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and you are responsible for independently verifying anything you rely on before submitting an estimate or making a claims decision.

Accounts

You’re responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Monthly audit limits and features vary by plan; current details are shown on the billing page. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: upload documents you don’t have the right to submit for processing; attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or access controls; reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code; or use Milan Audit for any unlawful purpose.

Your content

You retain ownership of the estimates you upload and the data they contain. You grant us the limited right to process that content as necessary to provide the audit service described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

Milan Audit is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy or completeness of audit findings, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. AI-assisted findings in particular reflect the current limitations of the underlying models and of Milan Audit’s own parsing of your document. Always apply your own professional judgment.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Milan Audit and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on any audit finding.

Termination

You may stop using Milan Audit and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [confirm this with counsel before publishing].

Changes to these terms

We’ll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change. If a change is material, we’ll make a reasonable effort to notify account holders directly.
